The Hotel Simader has a decisive advantage here thanks to its quiet location in the upper part of town, away from the Belle Époque buildings nestled into the steep slopes: right on the hotel grounds is our free parking lot, which offers plenty of space for unloading and parking. A wide variety of activities—some of which are even free with the Gastein Card included in every booking—are still within walking distance. Internationally popular attractions, such as Hallstatt, Salzburg’s Old Town, or the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, are just a short bus ride away. Located in the heart of Bad Gastein, just a few steps from the train station, the Stubnerkogelbahn, and the Felsentherme, the Hotel Simader warmly welcomes you. Our rooms, which were newly renovated in 2025, can accommodate up to 99 guests. They are equipped with a bath/shower, toilet, TV, and free Wi-Fi.

  • Tour groups: up to 80 people

  • Check-in/Check-out: from 3:00 PM / 10:00 AM

  • Reception: Staffed daily during peak season from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

  • Parking: Large bus parking lot directly in front of the hotel.

  • Breakfast Buffet: During peak season, a generous breakfast buffet awaits you every morning

  • Half Board: Upon request, we also offer dinner during peak season
